मुजफ्फरपुर | मुजफ्फरपुर जिले के सरैया प्रखंड के मधौल गांव से पटेढ़ी तिलक पकड़ी होते हुए रेपुरा बाजार जाने वाली ग्रामीण सड़क किनारे गुरुवार सुबह बड़ी संख्या में मरी हुई मुर्गियां फेंकी मिली। इससे इलाके में सनसनी फैल गई। आसपास के ग्रामीण बर्ड फ्लू की आशंका से भयभीत हो गए। स्थानीय ग्रामीणों ने बताया कि पटेढ़ी पुलिया के समीप सुबह काफी संख्या में कुत्तों के भोंकने की आवाज सुनकर आसपास के लोग वहां गए तो देखा कि पुलिया के पास सैकड़ों मरी हुई मुर्गियां फेंकी हुई थी। आसपास के गांवों में इस बात की चर्चा तेजी से फैल गई। ग्रामीणों को आशंका है कि बर्ड फ्लू के कारण मर रही मुर्गियों को कोई पोल्ट्री फॉर्म संचालक एकांत जगह देख चुपके से यहां फेंक गया होगा। पुलिया के आसपास आबादी नहीं है, इसके कारण किसी को पता नहीं चल पाया। स्थानीय ग्रामीणों ने बताया कि दिनभर कुत्ते, चील, कौआ मरी मुर्गियों को नोच नोच कर खाते रहे। ग्रामीणों का कहना था कि इतनी संख्या में मुर्गियां किन कारणों से मरी है यह कहना मुश्किल है। लेकिन अगर किसी संक्रामक बीमारी से मुर्गियां मरी होगी तो स्थिति गंभीर हो सकती है। क्योंकि पूरे दिन मरी हुई मुर्गियों को आसपास के कुत्ते व चील, कौआ नोच नोच कर खा रहे थे। संक्रमण का असर उनमें भी फैल सकता है और उनके जरिये यह महामारी का रूप ले सकता है। ग्रामीणों ने प्रशासन से अविलंब मामले की जांच करते हुए पोल्ट्री संचालक का पता लगाकर वस्तुस्थिति स्पष्ट करने तथा संचालक पर कार्रवाई की मांग की है।
चिकित्सकों की टीम ने मुर्गियों को मिट्टी में दबाया
मामले की सूचना के बाद गुरुवार शाम पशु चिकित्सकों की टीम पटेढ़ी स्थित घटनास्थल पर पहुंची और यत्र तत्र बिखड़े मुर्गियों को गड्ढा खोद कर मिट्टी में दबा दिया। पशु चिकित्सा पदाधिकारी डॉ. हेमंत कुमार राय ने बताया कि चिकित्सकों की टीम गांव में गई थी। कुछ मुर्गियां फेंकी हुई थीं जिसको मिट्टी में दफन कर दिया गया। आसपास के गांवों में जो पशुपालक मुर्गी और अन्य पक्षी पाले हुए हैं, वहां से सेम्पल लेकर जांच के लिए भेजवाया जाएगा। करीब दर्जनभर मुर्गे मरे मिले हैं। सीरम रिर्जव किया गया है। जांच के लिए पटना भेजा जाएगा। बर्ड फ्लू की अभी कोई आशंका नहीं है। फिर भी आसपास के इलाके के अधिकारियों को अलर्ट रहने को कहा गया है।
