नई दिल्ली । खेल और युवा मामलों के मंत्री किरेन रिजिजू को अस्थाई रूप से आयुष मंत्रालय का अतिरिक्त प्रभार दिया गया है। यह जानकारी राष्ट्रपति भवन ने दी है। यह कदम आयुर्वेद, योग और प्राकृतिक चिकित्सा, यूनानी, सिद्ध और होम्योपैथी मंत्रालय के राज्यमंत्री (स्वतंत्र प्रभार) श्रीपद येसो नाइक के गोवा के अस्पताल में भर्ती होने की वजह से उठाया गया है।
उल्लेखनीय है कि 68 वर्षीय नाइक को 12 जनवरी को अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था। वह कर्नाटक से गोवा लौटते समय एक सड़क हादसे में घायल हो गए थे। हादसे में नाइक की पत्नी एवं एक सहयोगी की मौत हो गई थी। राष्ट्रपति भवन की ओर से जारी बयान में कहा गया है कि भारत के राष्ट्रपति ने प्रधानमंत्री की सलाह पर निर्देश दिया है कि सड़क हादसे में घायल नाइक के अस्पताल में भर्ती रहने तक उनके आयुष मंत्रालय संबंधी कार्यभार को अस्थाई रूप से किरण रिजीजू को उनके मौजूदा कार्यभार के अलावा आवंटित किया जाए।
