दुर्ग ! पर्यावरण उद्यानिकी विभाग प्रभारी श्रीमती सत्यवती वर्मा की अध्यक्षता में समिति की बैठक एमआईसी भवन कक्ष में संपन्न हुआ । बैठक में अध्यक्ष की ओर से फ्लावर शो और निगम के उद्यानों में पानी की आपूर्ति हेतु समिति के सदस्यों के साथ विस्तार से चर्चा किया गया । बैठक में श्रीमती उषा ठाकुर, श्रीमती निर्मला साहू, श्रीमती मीना सिंह, सुश्री श्रद्धा सोनी, श्रीमती पुष्पा गुलाब वर्मा, श्रीमती हेमा शर्मा, श्रीमती कविता तांडी,श्रीमती प्रेमलता पोषण साहू, श्रीमती कुमारी राकेश भारत साहू एवं उद्यान निरीक्षक अनिल सिंह उपस्थित थे।
इस संबंध में प्रभारी पर्यावरण उद्यानिकी विभाग श्रीमती सत्यवती वर्मा ने बताया कि महापौर धीरज बाकलीवाल के मार्गदर्शन में पिछले वर्ष फ्लावर शो का आयोजन कर बेहतर प्रदर्शन किया गया था। इस बार उससे भी अच्छा आयोजन करने के लिए आज समिति की बैठक में रुपरेखा बनायी गई । 14 फवरी 2021 को फ्लावर शो का आयोजन किया जावेगा। इस आयोजन में शहर की प्रतिभाओं को शामिल किया जाएगा । राजेन्द्र पार्क में होने वाले फ्लावर शो में पहले से ही काउंटर आदि व्यवस्थाओं के लिए तैयारी की जा रही है। उन्होनें बताया नगर निगम क्षेत्र में अनेक उद्यान है जहाॅ पानी के अभाव में वहाॅ के पेड़ पौधे सूख जा रहे हैं एैसे उद्यानों में पानी की आपूर्ति की व्यवस्था करने का निर्णय समिति ने लिया है। इसके लिए आयुक्त को पत्र प्रेषित कर व्यवस्था करने कहा जाएगा।
