कोरोना वैक्सीन कोवीशील्ड की पहली खेप मंगलवार सुबह पुणे के सीरम इंस्टीट्यूट से एयरपोर्ट के लिए रवाना हुई। इससे पहले पूजा भी की गई। पुणे एयरपोर्ट से वैक्सीन के 478 बॉक्स देश के 13 शहरों में पहुंचाए जाएंगे। पहली फ्लाइट दिल्ली, दूसरी अहमदाबाद और तीसरी चेन्नई पहुंची। लोकल ट्रांसपोर्टेशन में लगे वाहन Z+ सिक्योरिटी के साथ चल रहे हैं।
56.5 लाख डोज डिलीवर होंगे
उड्डयन मंत्री हरदीप सिंह पुरी ने बताया कि पुणे से एयर इंडिया, स्पाइसजेट गोएयर और इंडियो एयरलाइंस की 9 फ्लाइट्स से वैक्सीन के 56.5 लाख डोज अलग-अलग शहरों में भेजे जा रहे हैं। ये शहर दिल्ली, चेन्नई, कोलकाता, गुवाहाटी, शिलॉन्ग, अहमदाबाद, हैदराबाद, विजयवाड़ा, भुवनेश्वर, पटना, बेंगलुरू, लखनऊ और चंडीगढ़ हैं।
वैक्सीनेशन 16 जनवरी से, केंद्र ने 6 करोड़ से ज्यादा डोज का ऑर्डर दिया
केंद्र सरकार ने सोमवार को सीरम इंस्टीट्यूट और भारत बायोटेक को कोरोना वैक्सीन के 6 करोड़ से ज्यादा डोज का ऑर्डर दिया। सरकार सबसे पहले 3 करोड़ फ्रंटलाइन वर्कर्स को कोरोना का टीका लगवाएगी। वैक्सीनेशन की शुरुआत 16 जनवरी से होगी। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने सोमवार को सभी राज्यों के मुख्यमंत्रियों से बात कर वैक्सीनेशन से जुड़ी तैयारियों की जानकारी ली।
