भोपाल। पुलिस ने बताया कि बड़वानी में रविवार देर रात एक 25 वर्षीय युवक के खिलाफ धर्म परिवर्तन के तहत नवगठित एमपी फ्रीडम ऑफ रिलीजन ऑर्डिनेंस 2020 के तहत पहला मामला दर्ज किया गया था। नए कानून में महिलाओं को धर्म परिवर्तन के लिए मजबूर करने पर 10 साल तक की सजा का प्रावधान है।
पलसूद गांव के निवासी, ट्रक चालक और डीजे सोहेल मंसूरी को सोमवार को पुलिस ने नए एमपी फ्रीडम ऑफ रिलिजन ऑर्डिनेंस 2020 और धारा 376 (बलात्कार), 323 (स्वेच्छा से चोट पहुंचाने) और 506 (आपराधिक धमकी) के तहत गिरफ्तार किया था।
बड़वानी पुलिस थाना प्रभारी राजेश यादव ने कहा, “22 वर्षीय महिला ने रविवार देर रात पुलिस में शिकायत दर्ज कराई कि सोहेल ने चार साल पहले महिला से मुलाकात की और खुद को सनी के रूप में पेश किया। उसने अपने धर्म को छुपाया और शादी के बहाने उसका बलात्कार किया।”
पुलिस अधिकारी ने कहा, “दो साल पहले, महिला को सोहेल के धर्म के बारे में पता चला लेकिन आरोपी ने उससे वादा किया कि वह उसे धर्म परिवर्तन के लिए मजबूर नहीं करेगा और उससे शादी करेगा। हाल ही में, उसे पता चला कि सोहेल एक बच्चों के साथ शादीशुदा था और वह उसे धोखा दे रहा था और उसे रूपांतरित करना चाहता था। जब उसने उसका सामना किया, तो उसने उसे पीट दिया।”
बड़वानी के पुलिस अधीक्षक निमिष अग्रवाल ने कहा, “पुलिस आरोपियों से पूछताछ कर रही है और आगे की जांच जारी है। उसे मंगलवार को अदालत में पेश किया जाएगा।” मप्र सरकार ने धार्मिक स्वतंत्रता अध्यादेश 2020 को धार्मिक और निषेध रूपांतरण को विनियमित करने और गलत बयानी, खरीद, धमकी, बल, अनुचित प्रभाव, ज़बरदस्ती, विवाह और किसी भी धोखाधड़ी के माध्यम से रूपांतरण का प्रयास किया है।
