बीजिंग। चीन के वुहान शहर में पिछले साल कोरोना वायरस का पहला मामला सामने आया था। उस समय दुनिया में किसी को अंदाजा नहीं रहा होगा कि यह वायरस विश्वभर के तकरीबन सभी देशों को अपनी चपेट में ले लेगा और जमकर तबाही मचाएगा। कोरोना से जुड़े आंकड़ों को छिपाने की वजह से चीन लगातार अमेरिका समेत कई देशों के निशाने पर रहा है। उसे संदिग्ध नजरों से देखा जाता रहा है। अब हाल ही में वुहान में कोरोना से जुड़ी एक ऐसी स्टडी सामने आई है, जिससे चीन पर झूठ बोलने को लेकर शक और गहरा रहा है। दरअसल, चीनी स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अधिकारियों द्वारा की गई स्टडी में पाया गया है कि वुहान के कोरोना के जारी आधिकारिक आंकड़ों से वास्तविक आंकड़े दस गुना अधिक हो सकते हैं।
चीनी सेंटर फॉर डिजीज कंट्रोल (सीडीसी) की रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि अप्रैल तक शहर के 11 मिलियन (एक करोड़ दस लाख) लोगों में से लगभग 4.4 फीसदी लोगों में कोविड-19 पैदा करने वाले पैथोगन के खिलाफ एंटीबॉडी विकसित हुई थीं। इस हिसाब से अप्रैल तक वुहान के 4,80,000 लोग संक्रमित हो चुके थे, जबकि आधिकारिक आंकड़ा 50 हजार मामलों का ही है। यह दस गुना अधिक है।
वुहान में कोरोना वायरस के आंकड़ों के बारे में अधिक जानकारी के चलते चीन ने कई लोगों पर जुल्म ढहाना शुरू कर दिया था। उसने व्हिसल-ब्लोवर्स को शांत करने और मामलों को रिपोर्ट नहीं करने के लिए तमाम कोशिशें कर रहा था। इसके चलते ही, पूरी दुनिया में चीन को आलोचना का सामना करना पड़ा था। वहीं, चीन के शंघाई की एक कोर्ट ने सिटीजन जर्नलिस्ट झांग झान को चार सालों के जेल की सजा सुनाई है। इसके पीछे यह वजह थी कि झांग ने वुहान की असलियत दुनिया के सामने लाने के लिए कई लाइव रिपोर्ट्स की थी। इससे खफा चीन ने उसको तरह-तरह से परेशान करना शुरू कर दिया और उसे दोषी करार दिया। काउंसिल ऑन फॉरेन रिलेशन के ग्लोबल हेल्थ में सीनियर फेलो हुआंग यंझोंग ने बताया कि सीडीसी के आंकड़ों से सामने आई विसंगति जनवरी के अंत और फरवरी की शुरुआत में अराजकता के कारण संभावित अंडररिपोर्टिंग की ओर इशारा कर सकती है। उस समय बड़ी संख्या में लोगों की सही तरीके से कोरोना जांच नहीं की गई थी। सीडीसी ने कहा कि वुहान के बाहर मध्य हुबेई प्रांत में केवल 0.44 प्रतिशत लोगों ने वायरस के लिए एंटीबॉडी विकसित हुई थी। शहर में 77 दिनों के लिए लागू किए गए लॉकडाउन की वजह से बीमारी को फैलने से रोकने में मदद मिली।
